Operation Honor: In loving memory of Colonel Albert E. McCollam, 1914-2004

Loving son, husband, daddy, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Disciplined, loving, musical, intelligent, affectionate, diligent, humorous. West Point graduate, combat engineer of World War II, D-Day Omaha Beach survivor, veteran of the Korean War, and the inspiration for Operation Honor. His cherished memory lives on in his four children, twelve grand-children, and thirty-one great-grandchildren. We love and miss you, Papa; thank you for all you did to inspire us to be here today!
